Come play and create at Explore! this week! We’re celebrating light in dark days with glowing lanterns and a joyful chain of community wishes that wraps around the space. Every link and lantern adds warmth to our shared winter scene.

Theme: Light in Dark Days

Activity 1: Windows of Light Lanterns – Create glowing paper or jar lanterns with tissue-paper designs. Add battery tea lights for a warm seasonal glow.

Activity 2: Joy Chain – Write messages of gratitude and kindness on colorful paper strips and link them into a growing chain around the space.

Supplies: Jars or cardstock, tissue paper, Mod Podge, LED candles, colored paper strips, markers, stapler or tape.
